Ticketmaster hackers could have exploited AWS instances to gain access to half a billion customer records

Threat actors claim to have stolen a database with sensitive information of 560+ million Ticketmaster customers, including names, addresses, email & phone numbers, payment data. The breach dates back to 2011.
ShinyHunters listed the 1.3TB database for $500,000, containing order info, partial payment card data with the last 4 digits & expiry dates. FBI seized BreachForums for the second time.
FBI's latest takedown involved BreachForums, Telegram channel, and Baphomet's channels. The group assisted in reviving the forum, acting as a proxy for the attackers behind the Ticketmaster breach.
