CISA is bolstering its capabilities in preparation for an expected rise in cyber incident reports, following requirements outlined in the CIRCIA. New technologies and personnel are being onboarded to meet the demand.
The audit by the Government Accountability Office pointed out that CISA has effectively implemented 13 out of 59 cyber incident reporting requirements by March 2024, with the remaining to be fulfilled by 2025.
