Fourteen vulnerabilities have been found in DrayTek routers, with one severe enough to allow remote code execution, enabling serious exploits like data theft and ransomware.
Forescout Research found over 704,000 DrayTek routers exposing critical web interfaces to the public internet, with 75% being business devices vulnerable to cyber attacks.
Despite warnings, the presence of many vulnerable DrayTek devices highlights a significant security risk, as around 38% remain susceptible to previously reported flaws.
DrayTek has issued patches for 14 vulnerabilities across 24 models, urging users to disable remote access, use two-factor authentication, and ensure proper network security.
