Does expired sunscreen still work?
Briefly

Exposure to UV radiation from the sun can damage skin and increase the risk of developing skin cancer on sun-exposed areas, wrinkles due to breakdown of connective tissue, and age spots caused by overactive pigment cells.
Sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30 should be used even on cloudy days, applying generously on all exposed skin every two hours and after swimming or sweating to protect against sun damage.
