"What I think the results indicate is that shroom availability has likely been increasing," says Joseph Palamar, an epidemiologist at NYU Langone Health and the main author of the new study.
The new study is "an important part of the bigger picture of where we are headed as a nation" with psychedelics, says Dr. Joshua Siegel of Washington University in St. Louis.
