A new study says the global toll of lead exposure is even worse than we thought

On the World Health Organization's list of 10 chemicals of major public health concern, lead is a familiar villain... But lead's pernicious effects don't stop in childhood nor at the brain.
"Many people believe that with the phase-out of leaded gasoline, the problem was solved," says co-author Ernesto Sanchez-Triana... "What we have shown is that no, the problem is far away from solved."
