Godzilla's design draws inspiration from the Tyrannosaurus rex's upright posture and apex predator nature, as well as the Stegosaurus's spiny plates that run along his back.
The Tyrannosaurus rex's ferocious attitude and iconic status, combined with the Stegosaurus's menacing-looking spines, formed the basis for Godzilla's fearsome appearance.
While Godzilla's spines were inspired by the Stegosaurus's defense mechanism, designers took liberties to create a more jagged and threatening look for the cinematic creature.
