Samsung starts rolling out April security patch to Galaxy S23 series, Z Flip5 and Z Fold5
Briefly

A couple of weeks ago, Samsung released the One UI 6.1 update for the Galaxy S23 series and the Z Flip5 and Z Fold5 foldables, an update that will be remembered for bringing the new Galaxy AI functionality to the 2023 flagships. That update is now followed up with a security patch for April 2024.
We are seeing reports that the April patch is also landing on on the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 trio, which were part of the One UI 6.1/Galaxy AI update too. However, the Galaxy S23 FE isn't on the list, neither are the two Tab S9 FE models.
The Galaxy AI features will be available for free until the end of 2025. If you're interested but don't feel like buying a Galaxy S24 phone, you can pick up one of last year's models.
Samsung US has carrier deals for the Galaxy Z Fold5 and Z Flip5 with up to $1,000 trade-in credit, plus some instant discount. The Galaxy Tab S9, Tab S9+ and Tab S9 Ultra have straight discounts instead. Have a look at the Samsung online store.
