Flapping and hopping around their nest, Toronto's bald eaglets in a 'precarious time,' TRCA says | CBC News
Briefly

They are doing a lot of wing flapping and hopping around the nest, which is a good sign. Despite these birds being really large and fierce, they are actually very sensitive to human disturbance.
They have enough movement to move around their nest, but they are not strong enough to fly. There is a real risk that if they are disturbed from this nest they could prematurely fledge, which means they could leave the nest before they could fly.
Their parents are feeding them regularly, another good sign that the eaglets are in good health. They are gangly-looking and they haven't really grown into their beak yet. Let's say 'a face only a mother could love.'
