The Asus ROG Ally X will feature a much larger 80Whr battery, addressing complaints about short battery life on the original model.
The ROG Ally X will come with 24GB of LPDDR5 memory offering higher memory bandwidth at 7,500MHz, an upgrade from the original 16GB and 6,400MHz on the first-generation model.
Asus will retain the AMD Ryzen Z1 Ultimate APU and 7-inch full-HD screen with 120Hz refresh rate from the first-generation ROG Ally on the upcoming ROG Ally X.
The replacement to the fan on the ROG Ally X with a smaller and thinner design will improve airflow by 10% compared to the first-generation model.
