The operator of the 330-meter tower reached an agreement with unions after promising a 380 million euro investment for renovation work by 2031.
The 135-year-old tower will play a prominent role in the upcoming Paris Games and Paralympics; Olympic and Paralympic medals will contain pieces of iron from the landmark.
