Israel resumed its deadly offensive against Hamas in Gaza on Friday, accusing the group of violating the seven-day truce just before its expiration.
Israel says that 137 hostages are still being held in the Gaza Strip after 110 were released during the weeklong ceasefire when they were swapped for 240 Palestinians imprisoned by Israel.
