Norway formalized its support for Palestinian statehood by handing over papers to the Palestinian prime minister, with recognition scheduled to begin from May 28, 2024.
The gesture made in Brussels, where the Palestinian Prime Minister was meeting with EU officials, follows Norway joining Ireland and Spain in pledging recognition of Palestinian statehood.
