Russia-Ukraine war: who will finance Ukraine's defence?
Briefly

The US Congress has announced plans to bring a package on military aid for Ukraine stalled due to Republican skepticism to a vote by splitting the $95bn aid bill into four separate bills.
One bill would focus on Ukraine, primarily allocating funds to replenish American munitions, while the other bills would cover aid for Israel, Taiwan, Indo-Pacific allies, and a mixed bag of foreign policy concerns.
The fate of humanitarian aid for Gaza, initially allotted $9bn, remains uncertain, with Democrats deeming it non-negotiable, and no provision for US-Mexico border security included in the proposed bills.
Success for each bill is not guaranteed as they require individual votes, raising challenges with Republicans' slim majority in the House.
