Leaders of the United States and France reaffirmed support for Ukraine against Russia's invasion. President Joe Biden warned that Vladimir Putin would not stop at Ukraine and apologized for previous delays in Washington's aid to Kyiv.
At least 22 people were killed and 15 wounded in the Russia-held region of Kherson by Ukrainian forces. Additionally, Ukrainian forces retaliated in Sumy Oblast, and Russian forces targeted Nikopol, damaging buildings and infrastructure.
A Russian Su-57 aircraft was reportedly hit in southern Russia, indicating Ukrainian resistance against Russian aerial capabilities. Also, a large part of Ukraine's land has been mined since the war began, posing a post-conflict threat.
