President Zelensky has called on the international community to strongly urge Iran against supplying deadly weaponry to Vladimir Putin.
Zelenskyy said as cited by state news agency Ukrinform, 'It is necessary to work with Iran so that Iran could [not] supply drones to the Russian Federation, and also to come up with a reasonable sanctions policy and undertake political efforts to work with Iran so that they do not supply missiles to Russia. 'Today, we do not see this happening, but we definitely see that it might happen.'
Officials in Kyiv said at least 40 of the fleet of drones were shot down and explosions were heard across the capital.
