On Monday Ukraine came under the largest attack by Russia with more than 200 ballistic cruise missiles and around 100 kamikaze drones.
The Ukrainian Air Force wouldn't confirm the crash or the status of the pilot, yet later reports confirmed that the pilot was Oleksiy Mes.
"F-16 fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were used to repel a missile attack on the territory of Ukraine by the Russian Federation."
Unfortunately, at the cost of his own life, Oleksiy saved Ukrainians from deadly Russian missiles.
