Barnet Football Club has officially signed goalkeeper Owen Evans on a permanent deal after he was released by Cheltenham Town. The 28-year-old shot-stopper previously joined Barnet on loan in January and enjoyed a successful stint, conceding only seven goals in 18 matches, which played a pivotal role in helping the club win the National League title. With experience at ten different clubs, Evans is optimistic about the upcoming season, expressing confidence in his team's abilities and ambition to achieve further success in League Two.
"The last four months of the season couldn't have gone any better, so to come back and it properly in the league now it's really good."
"I think we have the ability and the team cohesion to do really well in this league."
"I think we can really push, I think we'll surprise a lot of teams, and that's my ambition to continue the upward trajectory of this club."
