We Should Engineer Better Learning in Our Schools

Despite big tech's ubiquity, U.S. students get very little engineering instruction. Moving engineering into the school day could be a solution to the academic fallout from the pandemic and longstanding educational dilemmas.
Massachusetts led in introducing engineering in K12 science standards in 2001, influencing science standards nationwide. The Nation's Report Card now includes engineering in its new science framework.
