Loretta Duncombe, the crosswalk guard at Miami Edison, expressed the pride felt by all, noting, "We are so proud to be here - we are an A school! We work hard for it. It was not easy, but we did it."
Dominique explained the importance of the Bantu word 'Ubuntu,' signifying having humanity to others, which he believes is essential for creating an environment conducive to learning.
Aliette Pierre-Joseph, a reading teacher for first-year students, echoed that positivity, highlighting that support and kindness in the school contribute to the overall success of the students.
