Four departures from Piedmont schools planned for year's end

PIEDMONT Two top administrators have decided to leave the Piedmont Unified School District even though their jobs were not targeted for cutbacks due to budget problems in the district.Brian Killgore's job as director of communications is targeted for now, however, to be eliminated.Announcing their departure at the end of this school year are PUSD Assistant Superintendent Dr. Cheryl Wozniak and Dr. Marguerite Vanden Wyngaard, who was hired in December 2021 to serve the district in its efforts to promote diversity, equity and inclusion in the school district.
