Despite efforts from the MTA and the city Department of Education to crack down on illegal sales of student OMNY cards, students continue to sell these passes for substantial amounts.
The OMNY cards, which provide four rides a day for an entire year, have been seen listed for anywhere from $100 to as much as $1,500 on various platforms.
