Columbia rabbi warns Jewish students to go home, don't come back to campus because of 'extreme antisemitism'

Rabbi Elie Buechler cautioned students to 'return home as soon as possible and remain home until the reality in and around campus has dramatically improved.'

Buechler stated that Columbia cannot 'guarantee Jewish students' safety in the face of extreme antisemitism and anarchy.'

'No one should have to endure this level of hatred, let alone at school,' emphasized Buechler, highlighting the severity of the antisemitic incidents.
