I entered education in a non-traditional way... I continued substitute teaching and coaching, eventually deciding to return to school for education. Before moving into administration, I spent five years as a health and physical education teacher.
Everything happens for a reason, and my path to education was divinely guided. I wanted to create similar educational environments for all students, especially students of color, where they are loved and can explore their gifts.
