A 26-year-old Hayward man was shot Monday night in the Eastlake district, in stable condition with a lower body wound. He was shot while in a parked vehicle on East 10th Street and managed to drive a few blocks away before being found by the police.
The shooting's motive is being investigated, with no suspect information currently available. The victim's activities in Oakland prior to the incident have not been disclosed by the authorities.
