Ugly American history repeated itself in the horror that was perpetrated against former President Donald Trump and those at his rally in Butler, Pa., on Saturday evening... evil individuals who despise our democracy have assassinated or attempted to kill elected officials and those who aspire to public office.
The easy availability of lethal weapons heightens the danger... We cannot allow a message to be sent that people who attend a political rally of a controversial figure will have to fear for their lives.
