Through email addresses created under aliases, Rex Heuermann allegedly searched phrases such as 'how I was raped audio,' 'stories of rape audio,' 'medieval torture of women,' 'Autopsy photos of female,' and 'bondage bed,' among others, according a bail application filed in New York's Suffolk County Supreme Court.
Authorities allege Heuermann used one of the accounts as recently as June 2023 to search for updates in the disappearances of the four women he is now accused of murdering, according to the court filings.
