Three million Docker Hub repositories are being used to spread malware

Around 20% of Docker Hub's public repositories hosted malicious content, from spam to advanced malware, due to a documentation feature allowing easy upload of malicious files.

Approximately 30% of public repositories on Docker Hub were imageless, with 2.81 million found to contain malicious content, indicating intentional upload of malware.
