In this video, Scott Mackay and a friend went out and revamped an old trail including a creek gap. Though they appeared to retain the original wood, they poured a ton of work into the landing. As you can see, the drop works well.
In a region like British Columbia that has so many old classic trails, revamping them can be a full-time job. Watch a video of one rider's reclamation project below.
