The homebrew Yitian 710 CPU is the fastest Arm server processor in hyperscale clouds for database tasks, surpassing Intel Xeons on some tests.
Alibaba's Yitian CPU led in tests, benefiting from a newer Arm ISA version and DDR5 RAM. Other unique CPUs include kc1.15xlarge.2 VM type in Huawei cloud.
Graviton 3 outperformed the Yitian in Redis, but the Yitian excelled in memcached throughput and two out of three tests for RocksDB.
