The architectural features of W-Mission headquarters reflect sacredness, sanctuary, and community, inspired by the ocean waves of the client's birthplace and textile properties like lightness and weaving patterns. The design includes a reversed Gothic high-arched facade and a 'curtain wall' system using bricks to depict a desired curve, with a wave effect rising up to the sky. Brick construction traditions in Seoul influenced the design, with a digital computational tool creating the wave amplitude up to 170cm at the roof line.
