Before the renovation, the 50,000 sqm Chengdu MixC Public Plaza lacked diversity and connection to the commercial environment. FLO and ZHA divided it into themed plazas and streets to cater to specific activities and revitalize the space.
Themed plazas and streets offer varied experiences: Tide Plaza with blue wave patterns, a skateboarding corner, and a versatile Wave Garden for gatherings; Water Garden with water features and resort-like ambiance.
