Montreal West Station's Pavilion / Sid Lee Architecture
Briefly

Combining architectural finesse with the neighborhood's heritage, the new train station pavilion by Sid Lee Architecture acts as a beacon in Côte-des-Neiges - Notre-Dame-de-Grâce, improving transit services while being a distinct symbol in the landscape.
Embracing the challenge of a small area and a need for underground connections, Sid Lee preserved the existing woodland while creating a contemporary, sustainable, and universally accessible space.
Inspired by local architecture like St. Philip's Church, the new pavilion starts with a double-pitched roof, integrating contextual elements for familiarity and security in the community.
