MARC FORNES / THEVERYMANY's cherry blossom pavilion invites play and rest in taiwan
Briefly

A lightweight structure, Cherry Blossom Pavilion in Taiwan, combines art and architecture through advanced computational design, offering rest and play amidst cherry blossom trees and the sky.
Designed by Marc Fornes, the pavilion unfolds like a flower, creating pockets for views and fostering exploration, blending as a sculptural art piece and an architectural shelter.
The complex curvilinear surfaces of the pavilion are a result of parametric and computational processes, providing a continuous, ultra-thin system for visitors to engage with and enjoy.
The studio's design creates a winding playground with various entry points and canopies, encouraging social interactions and sheltered experiences within the industrial park.
