The artist envisions the BMW Art Car as another version of her painting, merging the car with her artwork, stating, 'it looks like its grille has inhaled the paint.'
BMW's Art Car Series, initiated in 1975, features collaborations with renowned artists such as Calder, Warhol, Koons, and now Mehretu, in its 20th installment at Centre Pompidou.
