Jim O'Connor obituary
Briefly

Jim O'Connor's highly innovative and accessible designs, characterized by bright colors and a pop-influenced style, made him an influential figure on the London fashion scene in the late 1960s.
From the very beginning, Jim was focused on making fashion exciting and accessible, moving away from traditional influences like haute couture during his time at the Royal College of Art.
His success at Mr Freedom solidified his role in fashion, where his colourful designs and collaborations with fellow designer Pamla Motown enabled them to reach a broader audience.
After moving to New York and Los Angeles, Jim O'Connor established his boutique Poseur, which became a pivotal location in the punk and mod fashion movements.
