installation by head-geneve envisions post-anthropocene landscapes at milan design week
Briefly

The installation '2084: Diorama of The Future' at Milan Design Week 2024 is an architectural speculation on the challenges of the post-Anthropocene era, addressing the reconstruction of a near future where cities battle submergence and extreme weather due to climate emergency.
MAIA students from the Department of Interior Architecture, HEAD - Genève, present a multi-faceted installation at Milan Design Week 2024, inviting viewers to reflect on contemporary environmental and societal dilemmas by placing them face-to-face with damaged environments, disrupting the traditional detachment in diorama exhibits.
The '2084: Diorama of The Future' installation features projects like the Camp, Nap, and Treat, developed by MAIA students who address challenges such as torrential rain and extreme sun exposure, showcasing innovative design solutions like a transportable tent that unfolds into a space for celebration.
