The exhibition at Castle Howard includes 10 sculptures in the gardens, and 18 indoors, along with 14 works on paper, all set in the Baroque interiors of the palace.
The show was organized by Nicholas Howard, descendant of Castle Howard's creator, and his wife Vicky Barnsley, with a personal connection to Tony Cragg's art.
Cragg's visit with Nicholas Howard to his sculpture park in Germany inspired the decision to showcase his work at Castle Howard, marking a new era of contemporary art at the historical site.
