Since the fire, Lee has spent the following three years recreating her lost work and making new ones. Now, she'll show her new pieces at the newly-opened Strike-Slip Gallery at 14th and Guerrero streets.
Her solo exhibition, titled "Capitalist(ICK)," will be shown together with "Beyond Material," a group exhibition featuring four other female Asian artists. The exhibitions run through June 1, with an Asian-American and Pacific Islander Artists' Talk on May 23.
