A robotics company has 3D printed nearly a hundred homes in Texas
Briefly

Homes in the Wolf Ranch community in Georgetown, Texas, are close to completion after almost two years, with over a quarter already sold, priced between $450,000 to $600,000.
ICON's 3D printer, the Vulcan, constructs single-story homes with tube-shaped concrete walls in about three weeks. The design is resilient, sustainable, water-resistant, and energy-efficient.
The construction process for the 3D printed homes has been streamlined, now operating with just one crew and one 3D printer, after initially starting with five building crews.
A notable downside is that the thick 3D printed walls interfere with WiFi signals, leading residents to rely on mesh internet routers placed strategically throughout the home.
