Back in January 2021, the heritage team found two small photos in an old catalogue, leading them on a journey to revive the Fritz Hansen Rocking Horse.
Creating the rocking horse from just photos required meticulous attention to detail and a unique approach inspired by musical instrument craftsmanship.
Incorporating the rocking function into the form added complexity, with design inspiration drawn from centuries-old techniques used in crafting cellos and violins.
