We present LaMPost, a prototype email editor that draws upon our understanding of dyslexia needs for AI-powered writing features like outlining main ideas, suggesting changes, and rewriting selections, showing promising routes for exploration.
Current LLMs may not yet meet accuracy standards for dyslexic writers, with findings indicating that LLM knowledge didn't change participants' perceptions or feelings of autonomy and self-efficacy when using the AI.
