AT&T confirmed over the weekend a massive data breach affecting an estimated total of 73 million users, consisting of current and former customers.
The compromised data may contain sensitive information such as social security numbers, full names, phone numbers, AT&T account details, email, and mailing addresses.
AT&T stated they have no evidence of unauthorized access to their systems leading to data exfiltration, and are offering credit monitoring to affected individuals at their expense.
The leaked data, confirmed to be legitimate, appears to be from accounts created in 2019 or earlier, as reported by tech account @vx-underground.
