Witten was nominated for the NFL's Don Shula High School Coach of the Year which was announced on X, formerly Twitter, on Thursday.
Each year 32 nominees are chosen by the 32 NFL teams and judged by character, leadership, dedication the community, integrity and on-the-field success. Two winners will be chosen this year from the AFC and NFC nominees. The winner will be announced in the week before the Pro Bowl. The winners will receive a $15,000 cash award to their high school football teams alongside a $10,000 cash award.
