Called TipLink Wallet Adaptor, it creates an in-browser wallet linked to a person's Google account, sidestepping the usual requirement that one set up a less-user-friendly Phantom, Solflare or other wallet before receiving any tokens.
TipLink works in 'a walled garden for dapps' and will only interact with programs that have been vetted to ensure they are not malicious or won't steal user funds.
TipLink is making it easier for newcomers by allowing them to receive a link to a wallet, login with popular credentials, and go, catering to users who lack crypto wallet knowledge or desire.
The app buries private keys to limit the possibility of users accidentally revealing them, leveraging Google's security protocols and adding more layers of security gradually.
