The notorious Mt. Gox exchange has shifted over $700 million worth of BTC to unknown wallets, potentially paving the way for creditor reimbursements.
Mt. Gox moved 12,000 BTC worth $709 million to one address and 1,265 BTC worth $75 million to another, raising speculation about future distributions.
While the market remained unfazed with BTC holding above $59,000, many Mt. Gox victims have chosen to hold their returned Bitcoin instead of selling.
The latest transfer marks Mt. Gox's first major BTC shift since late July, and such movements often foreshadow distributions to creditors.
