People who attended University Hospital of North Durham (UHND) between 9 pm and midnight on Friday 24 May could have been exposed to measles if not fully vaccinated with MMR.
Measles can present with cold-like symptoms, red rash, and potential fatality. Prompt medical attention is advised for symptoms such as high fever, cough, runny nose, and rash.
