The White Sox placed center fielder Luis Robert Jr. on the 10-day injured list with a right hip flexor strain he suffered during Friday's game against the Royals.
Not having Robert Jr. on the field is a tough loss for the White Sox. He's inarguably the team's best player at the plate and on defense. He's started this season well with two home runs and four RBIs.
The White Sox recently lost Eloy Jimenez to the 10-day injured list, too, with a left adductor strain. The injury bug has been a challenge for the team's top players early this season.
