Chris Flexen pitched six sharp innings, striking out eight and giving up one run. DeJong's home run helped the White Sox avoid a seventh sweep this season.
DeJong hit a two-run homer to lift the White Sox to a 2-1 lead. Flexen retired his first nine batters and surrendered only three hits in six innings.
Civale was pulled in the fifth inning for the fourth consecutive start and the White Sox secured the win with sixth-inning RBI singles by Ramos and Pham.
