FACETS Executive Director, Karen Carderelli, is inspired by Jacqueline Stewart's dedication to celebrating film, its history, and advocating for people of color. The Board acknowledges Stewart with the Brilliance Award.
Proceeds from the Screen Gems event will support FACETS programs, particularly the Bross Scholarship Fund providing under-resourced youth free access to Summer Film Camp and the Chicago International Children's Film Festival.
The Screen Gems event will have an online and live auction featuring prizes like festival passes, a modern cabin retreat, a round of golf, a private party package at FACETS, stay at Bowood country estate in England, Cubs tickets, and more.
Bidders can win Spotlight Passes for the next year's Screen Gems Gala, bid on experiences like staying at Bowood country estate, and enjoy other prizes donated by FACETS board members. All proceeds go to support the Bross Scholarship Fund.
